The trouble with Mr Rhoades 30,000 foot view is that it fails to examine the landscape being obscured by the clouds. You can list all the qualifications that it takes to form a profession, as he has done, but not answer the question about the qualifications and tactics used by those advocates as they propogate smear campaigns against any Senator that has taken any money from the “ Wall Street” interests.

We should examine the legal profession in their journey to become a profession and then examnine the state that it is in now, along with the public that is ill served. Walter Mondale in the past has argued that the state of the legal system and the fact that it is so closed is a grave threat to the citizen’s rights in the legal arena.
